Taylor R-0005 Acid Demand Reagent is a crucial chemical for pool and spa water testing, used with Taylor's liquid test kits to determine how much acid is needed to lower high pH levels, working with R-0004 PH indicator solution, providing precise readings for effective pH balancing. The reagent contains a small amount of sulfuric acid and deionized water, available in various sizes, and should be replaced annually for best accuracy.

1. A water sample is taken and treated with R-0004 (pH Indicator) to turn it a specific color.
2. R-0005 is then added dropwise until the sample matches a standard color on the comparator, indicating the correct pH level.
