This diethyl-p-phenylene diamine (DPD) solution reacts with residual chlorine in your pool's water and turns it pink. The pinker the water, the more chlorine levels are present.
The Taylor Technology DPD Solution No. 2, 2 oz is an essential part of your water testing regime.
Recommended Use: Water testing with a DPD reagent requires the addition of 5 drops of BOTH Solution No. 1 and Solution No. 2 for more accurate chlorine measurements.
