• Phosphate Elimination: Effectively removes phosphates from swimming pool water, contributing to reduced maintenance and a "No Phosphates - No Problems" approach.
• Lanthanum Formulation: Utilizes patented PHOSfree technology, formulated with lanthanum (rare earth) compounds, to reduce phosphate levels.
• Filter Application: Forms a thin coating on filter media when added to the skimmer, allowing phosphates to be reduced as water flows through the filter.
• Dosage Guidelines: Recommended dosage is 4 oz. per 8,000 gallons for regular use, with higher dosages for excessive phosphate levels and a weekly maintenance dose of 1 cap (4oz) per 8,000 gallons.
• Application Instructions: Requires cleaning or backwashing the filter, shaking the bottle, adding to the skimmer with the pump running, and filtering continuously for 48 hours.
• Treatment Limitations: For DE and Cartridge filters, do not add more than 1.5L (48oz) at a time, and clean/backwash the filter between treatments if more is needed.
• Pre-treatment Conditions: Algae must be treated and chlorine levels must be under 5ppm before testing and lowering phosphates.
