BioGuard Basic Shock (Part #23005BIO for the 5 lb bag) is a quick-dissolving, granular chlorine-based sanitizer designed for swimming pools. 

It is designed to be a straightforward oxidizer, treating and preventing bacteria and algae without unnecessary additives.

• Rapid Dissolving: It dissolves in seconds without needing to be pre-dissolved, making it safe for all pool types, including vinyl, fiberglass, and plaster.
• Potent Formula: Contains 43.47% Trichloro-s-triazinetrione and stabilizers to help with UV resistance.
• Versatile: It is used for regular weekly shocking, treating algae, and pool closing.
• High Performance: It is a strong, non-diluted chlorine formula meant to effectively sanitize and provide clear water.
• Standard Shocking: Apply 1 lb per 12,000 gallons of pool water.
• Algae Treatment: Use 1 lb per 12,000 gallons, targeting areas of highest growth, while the filter is running.
• Application Method: Add directly to the pool's deepest area. Do not apply through a skimmer or chemical feeder, and do not pre-dissolve.
