- General Shocking: Add 1 lb of shock per 12,000 gallons of water.
- Algae Treatment: Add 1 lb per 12,000 gallons directly to the pool in areas with heavy algae, while the pump and filter are operating, and brush surfaces.
- Application Method: Add directly to the deepest area of the pool. Do not apply through the skimmer or chemical feeder.
- Re-entry: Wait at least 15 minutes, or until the chlorine levels drop to 1-4 ppm, before entering the pool
