BioGuard Balance Pak 300 is a 97% calcium chloride compound designed to increase calcium hardness in swimming pools, protecting equipment from corrosion, staining, and liner wrinkling. It dissolves quickly with less clouding, ideal for maintaining the recommended 175-275 ppm range. It is applied directly to the water at a rate of 1 lb per 10,000 gallons to raise hardness by 10 ppm.
